Our programs

Sounds-Write

A sound-to-print approach

Sounds-Write is a sound-to-print approach which means that it is based on and structured around the sounds of speech. This means teaching explicitly the essential phonemic awareness skills, conceptual knowledge, and code knowledge needed for students to learn to read and spell. We don’t encourage guessing, looking at pictures, or using context to try and work out what a word is.

Orton-Gillingham

The Orton-Gillingham Approach is a direct, explicit, multisensory, structured, sequential, diagnostic, and prescriptive way to teach literacy when reading, writing, and spelling does not come easily to individuals, such as those with dyslexia.

Australian Dyslexia Association

The Australian Dyslexia Association is concerned with the well being, identification and education of those with dyslexia and related differences and challenges.
